TOP 10 FAQs

You’re thinking about doing a boudoir session and 1 million questions start to flood your brain…it’s okay - I GOT YOU! Here are the top 10 most asked questions [in no specific order of importance!]

1 - do you have payment plans?

Hell-to-the-yes! We love a good payment plan. A session fee is required to secure your session, coming in at $500 for private sessions [ $300 for minis ]. You then have the option to split up the print collection balance into as many payment as you want, spreading out over 3 or 6 months. Products will be delivered once full balance is paid.

2 - is hair and makeup included?

Hair styling and makeup services are included in all sessions. It is incredible what our glam team can do to provide that intense boost of confidence. Creative direction is fully up to you! We will consider the color of the outfits you will be wearing and what level of glam you are already used to. Our team will support and guide you to feeling your absolute best.

3 - will you share my images?

Never ever, ever will I share a client’s image without their written consent. There is a section in your contract where you can give or revoke permission to share your images. While around only half of my clients allow me to share images on social media, about 80% let me share images in my private marketing material [ex : boudoir guide, posing guide, exclusive client resources] This decision is totally yours, and you have the right to change your mind at any time - just let me know!

4 - will you photoshop my images?

Short answer : NO. There will be absolutely no editing of your photos to alter your body size. [You may not do it yourself or ask someone else to do it] Stretch marks, lines, discoloration, or tattoos will not be edited out. Upon request, I will edit out ‘today’s problems’; such as blemishes, cuts or burns, bug bites, ect. Sunburn and/or bad spray tans will not be edited out; wear your SPF and get a quality spray [referrals provided upon booking]

5 - what the hell should i wear?

Outfits can be a source of stress while prepping for a session; but I’ll be honest with you - it really doesn’t matter what you wear. Yeah, I said it, it doesn’t freaking matter! What matters most is that you feel comfortable in your skin, you feel good in what you’re wearing and overall - it feels authentically ‘you’. If thigh highs and a pearl necklace isn't your style, do not do it! If you hate bodysuits, do not force yourself into one. This isn’t about what a boudoir "should" look like, this is about making sure you feel the most you. Wear what you feel your best in, no matter what that is! There is always the option to wear....nothing ;)

After you book, you will gain access to the boudoir guide, full of so much information, including the posing guide and lingerie shopping guide. Plus, the in-studio client closet is available for all clients. I highly suggest bringing an outfit or two that you know fits you and you love, and supplement with anything you find in the client closet. Check out out lingerie shopping guide blog post!

6 - where is the studio located?

The studio is located in North Philly. 2 days before your session, you will receive an email with the studio address, plus all the information about the studio. The building is handicapped accessible and the free parking is plentiful.

7 - can i bring a friend to my session?

You may bring a friend to hang out during hair and makeup prep, if that feels supportive. I ask that once we start your session, they sit outside the studio. It is so important that your session is done in private. It might feel like a good idea to have someone present that you know really well. But once you start posing in lingerie, it can feel uncomfortable as they sit there and watch you. We are going for full on, bust-these-walls-all-the-way-down, vulnerability. Don’t worry, myself and the glam team are here to support you, put you at ease, and hype you up!

8 - how will i know how to pose?

You do not need posing experience to do a boudoir session, I am here to hold your hand the entire way. After you book, you will receive the posing guide; which breaks down 5 boudoir poses with step by step instructions so you can practice before your session. It is sooooooooo important to practice and move your body into these shapes so it feels a little less weird when there is a camera pointed at you. On your session day, I will brief you on what’s about to go down at the very beginning of your session, giving you tips on posing and offering up different things to think about and consider. Then I will physically show you each pose and verbally guide you through them as you when it’s your turn to make these shapes. At first it’s out of your comfort zone, and then all of a sudden it’s a rush of exhilaration and power as you start to organically move and connect with your body.

9 - when will i get to view my images?

Your full gallery will be ready to view within 6-8 weeks. Please keep this in mind when booking before an event or date that you would want your final products for. If you are doing this for a gift, I suggest booking your session 3 months before you need a product in your hands.

10 - do you offer print products?

We sure do! Print collects MUST be added onto your session fee. Build Your Own Collections start at $999; and are added to quickie-marathon sessions. Private session Print Collections start at $1,650.
